The 2025 Division 1 Boys High School Soccer Championship saw a familiar match up as Salesianum & Caesar Rodney met in the final for the second year in a row.

Salesianum put together a dominant championship performance, defeating Caesar Rodney 3–0 to reclaim the DIAA Division I state title.

The breakthrough came in the first half, when Joseph Turtoro worked the ball in off a corner kick and found Chase Esser open at the six-yard box. Esser showed composure under pressure and calmly finished to give Sallies the early lead.

In the second half, Salesianum doubled the advantage as Bryan Perez-Herrera delivered a dangerous cross toward the back post. Brady Esser rose above the defense and powered a header into the back of the net.

Sallies sealed the deal on the counterattack, with Brady Esser driving the ball down the line before finding his brother Chase Esser wide open through the middle. Chase buried his second of the match to cap off the performance and return Salesianum to glory as the 2025 DIAA Division I State Champions.
